Greetings, fellow worshippers ...
What an awesome time of ear. The season of renewal – warmer weather, blooms, animals, daylight ... It’s like after winter, everything just feels a little more alive, renewed. And feeling more alive points us to something even greater—the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. What a moment! What a victory! What a reason to celebrate!
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
2 Corinthians 5:17
I love what the Resurrection of Jesus Christ means for us. I love that what looked like the end wasn’t the end at all – it was the beginning. I love that it reminds us, no matter what we’re facing, that God is still working, still moving, still bringing life where we might not expect it.
And here’s the exciting part – that same hope, that same power, isn’t just something we talk about one Sunday a year. It’s for every day. It’s for you. It’s for me. It’s for all of us. It’s for eternity. We get to live in that joy, walk in that hope, and share it with the people around us every day.
Because the Resurrection of Jesus isn’t just something that happened – it’s something that’s still transforming lives today ... still offering hope over despair. Still replacing fear with love. Still healing brokenness. Still providing victory over sin and death.
So don’t hold back – BE EXCITED ABOUT IT! Think back to the day you were transformed, when you were made new, and let that excitement show in the way you live, the way you serve, the way you love, the way you encourage – whether it’s through a kind word, a moment of prayer, and, yes, lifting your voice in song, it all matters. It all points back to Him. It all points back to Jesus ...
