I’m thinking this is going to be short this month. The Psalms we will be reading in June are Psalms 60 -71. I hope you have noticed that even when the writer is complaining to God about his situation, he always ends the song in trust and praise. He is praising God for what he has done and will do. He is also trusting God with his situation. He is able to do this because God is faithful in keeping His promises.
In Sunday School we will finish up Lamentations and begin Daniel on June 15 for 5 weeks. Tuesday evening Bible Study will be taking a hiatus for the summer. All other studies will continue to meet with an occasional cancellation due to vacations.
Operation Christmas Child items for June are quality toys. Toys such as dolls, jump ropes, yoyos, play doh, Slinkys, soccer balls and pumps. I think you’ve got the picture. But please, no used toys.
Be sure and pick up a “Save the Date” card for the summer. Details about each event will be found in the newsletter and the website. So, mark those dates on your calendar and plan on joining us for some laughter and fellowship.
